Terms of Service

Your trial and your records

• Your free trial lasts 30 days. It never starts a paid plan or charge by itself.
• When it ends, workspace access locks. Ending the trial does not erase your saved records.
• To reopen the workspace, a verified owner chooses a paid plan. Access returns after payment is confirmed.
• To keep a copy, request an export from Account while you have access. If access has ended, ask support for an export.

How long records are kept and what can be deleted follow the Privacy Notice. Reopening access does not restore deleted records.

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms form an agreement between Unfettered Minds LLC, the owner and operator of Briard-AI and KAIDAN, and you and the organization you represent. They govern access to Briard-AI and any enabled add-on, including KAIDAN. You must be at least 18 and authorized to bind the organization using the service. By creating an account, enabling an add-on, or using a paid feature, you accept these Terms for yourself and that organization.

The service

Briard-AI provides AI-governance inventory, attestations, evidence organization, deterministic artifact generation, and related workflow tools. Features, supported frameworks, and limits may change as the service develops.

Not legal advice or certification

The service provides operational support material, not legal advice, an audit, certification, assessment opinion, or guarantee of compliance. Your organization remains responsible for professional review, control implementation, representations to third parties, and final decisions.

Accounts and security

Provide accurate account information, protect credentials, use available MFA, and promptly report unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for assigning appropriate workspace roles.

Acceptable data and use

Do not submit CUI, PHI, payment-card data, credentials, malware, unlawful content, or information you lack authority to process. Do not probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, overload the service, or use it to violate another person's rights.

Customer content

Your organization retains ownership of its submitted content. You grant Unfettered Minds LLC a limited right to host and process that content only to provide, secure, support, and improve Briard-AI and any enabled add-on. You represent that you have the necessary rights and instructions to submit it.

Platform ownership

Briard-AI and KAIDAN are products of Unfettered Minds LLC. Unfettered Minds LLC and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the services, software, interfaces, documentation, branding, templates, and related intellectual property. Your subscription or authorized access grants only a limited right to use the services under these Terms and the applicable order. Open-source components remain governed by their separate licenses.

Generated artifacts and policies

Artifacts and organization AI policies are produced deterministically from the metadata, confirmed answers, evidence references, source releases, rules, and templates available at generation time. A source citation does not establish that client-edited wording satisfies that source. Policy acknowledgments record receipt and understanding; they are not legal consent, a waiver, or proof of training completion. Review every artifact and policy before adoption or provision to an assessor, regulator, customer, insurer, attorney, employee, or other third party.

Free trial, subscriptions, and billing

Each eligible organization may receive one 30-day Briard-AI trial with Professional features. The trial starts when the workspace first opens, requires no payment method, does not renew, and cannot create an automatic charge. After the trial, a verified owner must separately choose and complete a paid plan to continue paid workspace features. Paid plans renew according to the checkout terms until canceled. Stripe processes payment information. Fees, taxes, usage limits, cancellation timing, and refunds are governed by the order or checkout terms displayed when you subscribe.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and secure but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may suspend access to address security, legal, payment, abuse, or maintenance concerns and may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practicable.

Termination and data requests

You may stop using the service or request cancellation. After termination, access may end and eligible data may be exported, deleted, retained, or de-identified according to the Privacy Notice and applicable retention obligations.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without implied warranties. Briard-AI is not responsible for decisions, filings, certifications, or third-party claims based on unreviewed outputs. Any liability is limited as stated in the applicable order or subscription terms.
