# Prices and total-cost examples

Professional includes 10 systems. The 11th system is not a hard stop: capacity and price adjust together after the authorized customer confirms the increase. For each plan, monthly price = base + $40 × systems above the included number. “No hard AI-system limit” does not mean unlimited event volume, storage or infrastructure.

Solo and Professional have self-service monthly checkout. Partner is sales-assisted; client quantities and any minimum commitment must be stated in its order. Framework entitlements remain plan-specific. The eligible Briard trial is 30 days, requires no card and creates no automatic charge. A founding promotion is available only if the checkout confirms eligibility; these examples assume no promotion.

Billing shows additional-system quantity and price before confirmation. The implemented paid-capacity change requests Stripe prorations; the invoice may contain prorated line items, taxes, credits or a promotion. A steady monthly example is not a prediction of a mid-cycle invoice. Checkout and the accepted order control the actual purchase. No annual subscription is offered in this catalog; twelve-month figures below are arithmetic planning run rates, not annual invoices or commitments.

## KAIDAN's fixed free launch year

The KAIDAN platform fee is $0 from **August 13, 2026 at 00:00 UTC until August 13, 2027 at 00:00 UTC**, subject to its access agreement. The window is shared by all eligible signed-in workspaces; it does not restart when a customer joins. Briard subscription fees remain separate.

There is **no automatic KAIDAN charge** at the end. Continuing paid access requires a separate offer and acceptance. For an organization that elects to continue, the KAIDAN platform fee will not exceed **$399 USD per organization per month through August 12, 2028**. This is a ceiling, not an announced paid price. No price after that date is promised here.

Customer-selected infrastructure, source systems, security products, storage, taxes, custom deployment and optional services are separate. A customer-controlled deployment may incur these costs during the free window. The accepted add-on agreement and its original version/digest remain unchanged.

## Three worked planning examples

All resources and labor assumptions below are fictional. They are not cloud quotes, required hosted-service surcharges, measured production operating costs or a claim of cost savings. The base subscription covers standard hosted Briard operation. Extra lines illustrate only costs the example customer elects to control or purchase. All scenarios assume KAIDAN is enabled in each listed organization.

Larger-team labor assumes 2 hours × $150; Partner labor assumes 10 hours × $100. These are buyer planning inputs, not Briard service rates. Partner's possible continuation ceiling is five separately enabled client organizations × $399, not one fee covering five tenants. Taxes and changes in source/provider fees are excluded and must be added when known. A budget that crosses August 13, 2027 must split free and separately elected paid periods; do not treat the twelve-times comparison as twelve free KAIDAN months starting today.

## Check the whole cost before purchase

Record event rate and bursts, sources, retained bytes per day, 365-day KAIDAN evidence retention, legal holds, external copies, backup/restore space, egress, notification costs and staff time. Price each selected provider under its actual account terms. No event/storage overage tariff is invented by this document: if a deployment needs more capacity, agree on its capacity, fees and responsibilities before activation. Standard self-service export is included; bespoke migration and incident-response services need a separate scope and price.
