# KAIDAN service continuity and customer exit

KAIDAN is operated by Unfettered Minds LLC from company-controlled hosting without a dependency on the founder's personal laptop.

Published operating schedule, objectives and exit terms (not proof that each scheduled run completed):

- host health audit every five minutes and public-boundary check every ten minutes;
- encrypted off-host production backup every day;
- weekly network-isolated restore rehearsal schedule; each completed run must retain a dated, release-bound result;
- exact deployed release, database, archived WAL, evidence objects, cryptographic service state, and non-secret configuration included in the continuity backup;
- recovery point and recovery time objectives of 24 hours or less after a company-hosted disaster is declared and recovery begins;
- 365-day default evidence and immutable-package retention, subject to legal hold and governed disposition;
- authorized custody-verifiable export;
- 30-day read-only export window after ordinary customer-requested termination, subject to documented legal, security, sanctions, or future contractual restrictions; and
- at least 90 days' notice for voluntary service discontinuation when legally and operationally possible.

O02 technical production recovery is complete for deployed revision `6b71b4dede46543a030a26f2024a12150c1e057b`. At 09:38:44 UTC, encrypted snapshot `c76e7184574f33c20a044c8c6f8afd450f2a0329f88aec542d8938c518d4bdd3` recorded schema ID `b6d9b467cd2cc2adf9766cfb770a65a5d94573273cc784d47d4d734419ba7e99`. A network-isolated restore recovered 2,035 files totaling 255.731 MiB in 8 seconds; release, object-store, OpenBao and continuity-audit checks passed. The fail-safe confirmation negative test passed: the guarded recovery action did not proceed without the required confirmation. Controlled restart, alert and health recovery ran from 09:39:36 to 09:39:55 UTC in 19 seconds, and the final health audit passed. See [evidence and open findings](./evidence-status.md).

KAIDAN test-account recovery is also already evidenced. A retained July 2026 record shows a successful fresh Entra MFA sign-in followed by a protected case read with HTTP 200. The Entra success was operator-transcribed, not retained as a raw provider export, and the evidence does not establish an Owner role. That test-account result is separate from independent second-person succession and does not establish recovery for every customer identity provider. The O02 rehearsal is scoped engineering evidence; it does not create a contractual RPO/RTO result or independent assurance.

During the fixed free launch-year window, support response targets are four business hours for P1, one business day for P2, three business days for P3, and five business days for P4. Business hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM US Central Time, excluding US federal holidays. Response means acknowledgement and triage, not guaranteed repair. No service credits apply during the free window. Continuous automated monitoring is not a staffed 24/7 human response service. These service-support priorities are not promises that every AI alert of the same label receives human intervention.

The free window ends August 13, 2027 at 00:00 UTC and does not authorize an automatic charge. See [pricing and continuation terms](./pricing-and-cost.md). This clarification preserves the existing retention and exit terms; it does not shorten a lock or an agreed access window.

KAIDAN does not yet have an activated independent source-code escrow agreement or a completed independent human-succession rehearsal. Encrypted off-host backup is not described as third-party escrow. Formal escrow and independent succession remain separately identified requirements.
